Hallo everybody!
I just got this interesting coffee table , label says Aksel Kjersgaard but cannot find any description of it on the internet, nor any picture. I have tried with different languages on google but nothing.
The top part can be lifted up and down, it must be an adjustable coffee table. The mechanism is quite elegant.
The mark on the bottom (see pictures) includes the 8300 before “odder”, therefore I would date this table from the 70es as it is exactly the same label that another member posted here a few years ago:

All the labels I found on the internet instead are missing the “8300”.
From the color of the wood I would say oak… what do you think?
Next question: I think that the 5 wheels (plastic, see pictures) where added later. In fact, when you pull on the top part to lift it up, with the wheels it would not work as the table is moving. Any opinion?
It would be nice to find who designed it...

If that can be of any help, 8300 is the postal code for Odder. Postal codes have been introduced in 1967 in Denmark.
I have checked the stamps of the AK furniture I own and indeed none of them have the postal code before Odder including a piece that has been dated from the end of the 1970s / beggining of the 80s.
The table from the link you posted seems to be a computer table so it is most probably much more recent than the 70s.
Anyway, the best would be to contact the brand directly. They usually do answer.
Please keep us updated If you find anything. I am very curious about your table!
Just for the record, here is very kind answer from the company:
"The table was produced in the period from 1990-1994 in Pine wood and Elle wood.
Is was designed by Nissen & Gehl Mdd. The table was made with 5 plastic wheels and the function is that you can pull it up so it gets higher if you want to eat at it."
I guess "elle wood" is oak, right?

'Elle wood' is Is a half translation of elletræ in Danish. The more come name for 'elle' in English is Alder.
Oak is 'eg'.
In fact a lot of tree names are still a bit recognizable between Danish and English, especially if you consider how they are pronounced, not spelled:
Bøg Beech
Eg Oak
Birk Birch
Elle Alder
Fyrre Pine (Fir)
