Hi all!
First post here and I am sorry if I ask something that has been answered before!
I picked up a knock-off Eames 602 chair and ottoman the other day, here in Sweden.
It's in pretty good condition with a little wear of course.
The base of chair has springs and is marked Middletown MFG Co.
The fixtures or fittings for the top shell are made of wood. Not metal as on the 602's.
The color of the faux leather is burgundy and it's in a good condition too.
Now, I have oogled google so my eyes are sore but I haven't found pics of exactly the same model and it would be nice to know who made it. The tags underneath are gone so no help there.
What makes mine a little different from those I've seen online is the small piece of faux leather under the armrests. One is gone but that's an easy fix.
If anyone has any ideas who made it, please enlighten me!
