Hi Old Timers, I have had this for about 10 years- found in the trash in NYC, veneer on 1/4 ply ( I should have taken the whole dumpster!)
Anyway, this has been kicking around in my apt. for years, never found a good use for it, and have always wondered what kind of wood is this? Love, the book match, but---Rosewood? Walnut? Mahogany?
Oh, 1839 French 5 Franc coin and toes for scale!
