I know everyone hates this kind of thread, but I've been here a long time - so help a brother out and don't give me any flack.

I'm considering buying this chair form the city-wide garage sale. Seems like I've seen it before. Any info? The lady said it came from England.

if memory serves me correctly...
i believe i've this chair as well... ah yes... it was on Star Trek: The Danish Generation...
but seriously, that chair freaks my mind out(in a geeky, fun i certainly don't hate it kind of way). you really are on a Saarinen kick, aren't you.

If
it was comfortable I'd buy it. That would be how I would decide on this one.
I like the Star Trek association. I think this was maybe upholstered in female Hypnarian hide. . .

Would you keep it the same color
because it looks like it might be a reupholsters worst nightmare given the angles and seams, looks very comfy though.

Yeah, I think I could live...
Yeah, I think I could live with this chair were it comfortable but the color/upholstery, I don't know - definitely vintage Star Trek. As for the sci-fi folks, I sense most of the real diehard ones are just getting home from Minnesota. But that's another topic.
