Lots of TV-show sets are dressed with custom-made furniture. In the 'eighties I worked in a shop that made the coffee table and another piece for the set of "Frasier." These chairs -- slightly squashed vertically, in your photo ?) may have ben designed and made for the show they appear in . . .

They look a lot like Karpen to me. Not familiar enough with Karpen to know if that is the correct ID or if these chairs are just similar.

Thanks cdsilva! Looks pretty close to the Karpen Horn chair. Thank you for pointing me in that direction. My best guess now is that it may have been reupholstered without the welt cord, which makes for a somewhat different shape.

cdsilva you a correct.....
Karpen of California "Horn" chairs. These chairs have been on my bucket list of chairs I would like to own someday for a long time. Unfortunately they are hard to find and the cost of them has skyrocketed in the last few years. Here is a picture of another, but similar, Karpen of California chair that I wouldn't mind having a pair of someday too...... True story: the picture is of the exact set of Karpen chairs that I had the chance to buy off of Ebay about 2 years ago. They would be mine now "EXCEPT" this auction was during the same time that PayPal was hacked and Ebay was asking everyone to change their passwords. I changed my Ebay password but didn't change the Ebay password on my Auction Sniper account which has to be identical for you to use with Ebay. I used Auction Sniper to put in my bid at the last second at a much higher price than the $1627.00 the set sold for. Unfortunately because of the passwords not matching the bid never went through. Tough day for me;(
