Hi All,
My first time here! I have a doubt: I have just bought an used Wassily Chair, here in Berlin, from a private couple, they had the chair for mor than 14 years. It looks that original, but I am not quite sure. I made some pictures and one of them looks like a Knoll symbol with number, but I dont know, is there someone here, that could kindl confirm? Please the pictures. Thanks Humbsz

Hi.
What is throwing me off is that the attachment screws appear correct,... but the end caps (whilst solid..one piece) look to be slightly convex, and should be flat. I've also never encountered a Wassily that had embossment into the leather, which appears to be vinyl in the photo's . So be cautious and don't forget to feed the birds.
Best,
Aunt Mark
ps I tend to be wrong.
Your chair - with the signature on the back - in the leather - is featured in the video on this page. Watch for it -- it explains that it is from the B3 Wassily Chair by Gavina: http://www.gentlemansgazette.com/wassily-chair-model-b3-by-marcel-breuer/
