Unique two tone Teak Side table with raised edges - ID help please?

Hi everyone,
Looking for any assistance with the manufacturer and designer of this two tone teak side table... Any thoughts? No stamps..
Also I'm thinking that the two wood colour tones - is teak. Not sure though.

A photo of the underside might be helpful.
And I think the edge banding might be Afrormosia. If I am right, that might suggest a few things about it's origin.

Thanks Leif. I'll work on getting a picture of the underside this week.
As for the general look of the table top (raised edges)...I've come across the following designers in my research:

Similar raised edges I suppose...

You can strike Poul Jensen from the list: those Selig tables with raised edges ("gallery edges" is what the catalog calls them) were designed by Knud and Erik Christensen. Not Poul Jensen not Ib Kofod Larsen as is so often claimed.
If the edg banding is Afrormosia, I would say the likelihood is that the table is Norwegian, or British. Possibly Danish too, but not so very likely. The Danes used Afrormosia plenty, but not so much in that way.
