This lamp is the heaviest lamp I have come across. It has an impressive cast metal flame (olympic torch?). Likely solid brass. Possibly plated. The frame is painted steel with a cast steel base.
The shade is aluminum.
The finial at first glance looks similar to other cast brass finials available online but is actually a different mold.
The Dual sockets and mounting looks identical to a Laurel lamp I've found. The plug has Rhythm on it.
I realize this isn't very old. The bottom felt has age and their is wear to the brass base from handling.
I'm guessing 1980's.
Another thought, I am near Grand Rapids, MI home of Mastercraft furniture.
Any thoughts? Is it noteworthy.
