Hi,
We're trying to identify this trestle table, about which we have very little info. It has a solid wood base with a butcher block surface, which might well be maple. Sorry, I'm not giving you much to go by on this one.

I had the same table...
but now after cutting down the legs and staining the top dark it makes for a nice coffee table, hope it was'nt anything special?
Just to confirm it is the same table, you can pull off the side wood covers on legs and you will find two allen head bolts.

Yes, indeed, these side pieces do come off to reveal two bolts. I do not have a particular reason to believe you committed a furniture lèse-majesté, it belonged to an estate that contained designer items, and it is a well made table of nice proportions. Do you have any info on its age/origin?
