Not even close
Dan,
I use Poul Kjærholm, PK20's and PK22's in my home and the only similarity is that your chair is made from steel and leather. That type of thinking makes a Volkswagon Bettle look similar to a Porsche 911.

I think we're digressing...
...from the main question?
I didn't want to get into a debate about car design
Thanks for the helpful input anyway

It is called a metaphor
Dan,
This was not meant to be a car design debate. I used what is called a "metaphor" to to draw attention to your off base thinking that compares a "low end" chair to a "high end" chair based on that they are both made from steel and leather. Both cars are made of metal and they have rubber tires, they look similar. This is the same distorted logic.

Feel the wrath
The only single point people will pick out of your thread is "similar to... " I agree with niceguy similar in material but there it ends!
And just so I do answer the question I have seen the chair before but cant remember where it could have been in another thread? looks like a modern design grabbing bits from other designs and periods but thats as much as I can give you.

Arthur
Thanks for the reply, I take on board your comment and won't make the same mistake twice.
I am disappointed that people take the time to write sarcastic replies, when people like myself with a genuine passion to learn about MCM design come to a forum such as this for helpful advice. I see it happen here quite a lot and it's quite sad really.

I saw one of these last week and I thought it was a new piece pretending to be old.
