I bought a chair a while back at a garage sale and have been trying to figure out more information on it. I found these chairs on line for sale and they are exactly the same as mine. I wrote the seller to see if they had any info but all they told me was ?they are mid century? anyway I was wondering if anyone had any information on them, Designer, etc?. I know their Selig but I have never seen them before. Any info would be great. Thanks all!

I Took the chair apart...
just a little. the arm cusions slip off as well as the back. it looks like the whole chair is mostly attached like the kofed larsen chairs with the brackets. the only marking is the round selig emblem. it seems to be made of rosewood and teak. Hopefully someone can point me in a direction. thanks again all.
Milo Baughman...?
did Milo Baughman ever design for Selig? I noticed a similarity between my chair and some of Baughman's sofas (the arm cushion wrapping around the frame) and although i know alot of his stuff has chrome in it i have seen some of his pieces for glen of california and thayer coggin that were strictly wood so it made me wonder. ive noticed some pieces for sale online that claim "Milo Baughman...Selig" but i cant be sure if it's just ignorance or a tag or actual fact so that makes me wonder. Did Milo Baughman ever design for selig? anyway someone please tell me if i'm barking up the wrong tree. thanks again.
If the chair has the Danish f...
If the chair has the Danish flag Selig emblem on it, I would think it very unlikely that Milo Baughman was involved, as he was American. The purpose of the Danish line that Selig imported to the USA was to bring Danish design and manufacturing to the USA market.
thanks for your input...
thanks for your input TCHP. i agree its a stretch that baughman was involved, i just cant seem to find any info regarding this chair. I've looked through as many old selig Ad's as i can find and still nothing even remotely close. Do you know if any forum members have any old selig catalogs that may be able to shed some light on the subject? I'll keep looking but at this point I'm stumped. Anyway, thanks again for your help and ill keep you posted if i come across anything.
