Please help to identify the designer and maker for this rosewood table. The top is rosewood veneer and rest of table is solid wood but look like mahogany to me but I'm not a wood specialist. Table is heavy and looks well made, fully skirted even on the two leafs with a nice flowing transition from skirt to legs. The extension rails are metal not wood.
The photo of back of leg top may help to ID the designer + maker and shows how the legs are attached to table top. There is a slot cut into back of skirt that allows the leg to be bolted onto table. Top of leg has screw thread and dowels which insert into bottom of skirt. Nut and washer can be tighten or loosens from this slot for a strong connection. You can see "2S" stamped into the leg and skirt back to match each leg to correct position.

looks like or is trying to look like a table by
Henning Kjaernulf for soro stolefabrik. I've had the teak version and the legs fit into the apron like a keystone. It also had a drop down tripod support leg.

detailed photo of leg and skirt
Added a couple of photos of table edge, leg + skirt detail. Legs are oval shaped in cross-section.
Forgot to mention there is a partial Danish maker foil remaining on bottom but don't see other markings, see photos.
There is no center strut to support leafs. Leaf rails are metal which leads me to believe table is 70's or newer but that's only a guess. Earlier tables tend to have wood rails.
Table diameter is ~47.5 inches and extended length with two leafs is ~83 inches.

Maybe Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik? The top of the leg which Onno asked about is what makes me think of him.
Here is an exemplar that sold on Lauritz, which isn't any sort of reference, but in this case there is a literature reference, so it might be more solid than usual for Lauritz.
