Hi, I've just picked up these quirky chairs, a set of four. I loved the curve and picked them up on impulse, but the quality of them has me intrigued...does anyone have any idea as to their origin? Maybe they are just generic but their weight and seamlessness makes me think twice!

they are by Rudy Verelst a belgian designer for Novalux 70's probably maybe late 60's

These are not Novalux but were manufactured by Soudeurop.

Thanks for the replies! I've researched both and I think I agree with you wesemael! They're so lovely, really heavy. Thanks for all the help, I don't think I would have found the answer by myself!

I have these and are stamped with 'Soudeurop'. I know people rather like to have designer pieces....

However when I searched for chairs by Soudeurop I didn't find any examples that were similar.
I'm happy either way, I'm glad to have my assumption of quality verified!
