The handle is teak.

I have no idea how old it is, maybe it's even contemporary, ceramics are not my area of collecting. I hate being stumped.

That's a GREAT thrift store...
That's a GREAT thrift store find. Fujita (along with Tackett) did some great work for Freeman Lederman
