I have the opportunity to purchase this pair of armchairs. They are solid walnut, and in good condition. Does anyone recognize them or have any insight who designed them? As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Josh

McCobb falls a little outside my area of interest, except for the shovel chair. However, I enjoyed seeing this design as it is one of the few (maybe only?) modern interpretations of the traditional Windsor comb back armchair. There are quite of a few Danish and American modern versions of the more widespread Windsor fan back chairs (Wegner, Tapiovaara, etc). And there are modern interpretations of other traditional chairs from Greece, China, and Egypt.
Any other modern comb back chairs out there?

Thanks Parafo! I apologize for my ignorance - I was going from the advertised product description, but I should have known it wasn't walnut just by appearance. McCobb should have been easy too. I'll dig deeper next time before I post. Thanks again for the identification.
