A recent acquire and I've been searching high and low for any signs that can point me to an attribution but I'm stumped.
The chair features a (what I believe) to be oak and mahogany/walnut frame, with a squarish armrest that tapers and is sculpted was it cascade towards the back. There are two spindle are acts as supporting beams because the legs are slightly angled inwards. All signs points to american made but then it could be early european.
Any guesses or further analysis would be greatly appreciated. This chair is not very photogenic, it looks better in person as the sculpted elements are more noticeable.
