I got two of these today from a person in southern California who claimed they are Swedish made but there are no marks or tags anywhere on the chairs. They look decent and need to be reupholstered. Any suggestion ? ! He had this round wicker THING and said it is from 1960?s
I can not figure out what it is good for (chair , desk or what?) , but it looks good ? does anybody know?
Thanks for your help.

I don't see anything wicker. The upholstered chair I believe would have had a Selig tag (fabic/fill type tag). Could have been made by Overman then imported by Selig. I've no clue about that.

Looks like there was an Albini chair to go with the ottoman -- also available as a Vitra miniature for $663.

I have been trying to locate online a Overman chair similar to this to compare with no avail. If you know a specific site that I could go to - i will be very grateful.

This Overman chair is similar, but it is not quite the same. Anyone familiar with this chair would be reminded of it from seeing yours though. I have not seen an Overman chair exactly like yours.

Five star base with similar feet on this Selig chair might be a clue, possibly.
