Yes, they are Pearsall chairs.  Not all of his designs are in the catalog that can still be found online here (which I include just for reference):

I reupholstered one of those chairs once and can also confirm that it was Pearsall just from that experience.  He used unique construction methods.

Thanks! Looks like I'll be reupholstering a pair of them. Any tips aside from your opinon on his construction methods? : )

Pick a fabric with some give to it.  Hand stitch the perimeter for a nice finishng touch.  Use good foam.  
The curved plywood back on the one that I did was all chewed up along the bottom edge where the factory and the previous upholsterer had put screws in badly and splintered the wood.  I laid chipboard over the plywood right up to the edge and stapled it in place, then put some kind of padding over that (I think probably 3/4" poly upholstery batting).  The finished chair back at the bottom edge was perfect, no lumps or bumps at all.

Thank you, wonderful advice. I picked these up over the weekend they do in fact have the craft associates label! I can tell you what you mean by the "interesting" construction methods.
On to the reupholstering!

Yeah, do not let anyone EVER drape a leg over the arm, or perch on an arm!
