I've been trying to wet my beak a little more as of late with MCM pottery. I bought this planter(?) recently, I had seen the movie "Please Give" before and I remembered seeing this same piece. I can't remember them saying anything in terms of ID in the movie. Its marked Italy on the bottom as you can see. If anyone can help me out, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have something with a similar mark, which I think is pretty common (at least, the way Italy is written out). I posted here, too, but no info, and Google didn't give me much ... there is a website called italianpotterymarks, but it was pretty daunting, and I gave up - you might have more energy for it, and more luck - hope you find something
