I picked this up yesterday and am pretty confident that it is an Adrian Pearsall wave rocker. But there are a couple of inconsistencies that I'm concerned about. One is that it came with a matching ottoman. I guess that it could have been made after the fact, but I haven't ever seen one with the rocker. Secondly there is a tag on the bottom of the rocker, underneath the cambric that says 'Lande Manufacturing' which I can't find any info on. Just want to make sure I know what I am selling before it sells. It is a cool piece regardless but cooler if actually designed by Pearsall. Thanks for the help!

It appears to me that your rocker and ottoman were two separate pieces that were reupholstered together at some point in time. I don't believe ottomans make much sense with chaise lounges, fixed or rocking.
The online Pearsall Craft catalog (now accessible only through an archival server) does not have any chaise rockers. https://web.archive.org/web/20130814035449/http://www.adrianpearsall.com... . However that catalog was never fully comprehensive.
There are many chaise rockers advertise online as Pearsall. Some claim to have the Craft label on them. Your best bet (beside spending $50 to have Pearsall's son authenticate or not) is to track down one of those tagged online listings and compare dimensions and details with your chaise. Please report back any findings for future reference.
Here is an old auction listing that claims to have a Craft label. It gives dimensions. As your chaise looks to have been reupholstered, it may have originally been a two-part wave like the one in the link, rather than the current single part wave. Having said that, the proportions also look different to me.

Also, can you post a photo of the tag? Perhaps it is a component manufacturer tag rather than the chaise manufacturer tag.
Thanks for the help! Leif, I think my question was the same as your question. 'Does the Lande label signify that Pearsall didn't make it?' Thanks cdsilva for reaching out and being helpful. The cool thing is that Pearsall stuff seems to not matter as much, in terms of value, if it has a label or not. People just like the Pearsall look/style. And this one is particularly well made. As a reseller, I am happy to have it. Thanks again!
