Hello all. I'm finalizing the purchase of a Nakashima splay-leg coffee table. To my untrained eye the dimensions, proportions and signature all seem accurate, but I was hoping someone here could verify before I commit.

Also is there any way to tell how old it might be?

Looks right based on this same marked one:

Age? Not sure, but judging by the Knoll stamp I'd say its recent. You can buy a new one from knoll: http://www.knoll.com/product/splay-leg-table
If all else fails, you could just ask Knoll.

Thanks for the link, that's helpful. And yes, it's from that auction. (Which I lost, then got a call back saying the high bidder had backed out and they wanted to offer it to me for $700.)
