Fifteen years ago a work acquaintance showed me a book of work by a shop teacher at a German or Austrian boys school. The work was furniture -- specifically, a series of credenzas or sideboards with sliding or hinged doors. The doors were the thing: each a different bas-relief repeat pattern, intricate geometries designed to be machine carved, as a student project. The designs were wonderful, and very sophisticated.
Has anyone seen such a book, or other reference to this unnamed man ?

Was this a self published book? Or some sort of commercially published coffee table book? A build it yourself plan book?
Language? Format? Approximate length?
And the designs were all geometrical repeating? Like Islamic designs?
Sorry just not sure I understand what you know abou the book, and it sounds interesting.
