I picked up this set today on craigslist and I am having the hardest time trying to find out anything about them. There are no manufacturer identification markings anywhere. It consists of two end tables which are identical, and a matching coffee table, as well as a side table (but I don't believe that is from the same manufacturer). They are all exceptionally well made, the joinery is exquisite and I can't believe how little I paid for it. Does anyone see anything here recognizable?

Underneath the coffee table it is marked 582 and the matching end tables are marked 583, the lone side table is marked 602-37 LOT 395.

Any help is appreciated!

Can't offer a firm ID, but they remind me of some Drexel pieces from the late fifties/early sixties, like this:

Drexel also used that style of stencils. Again, not definitive, but a clue.

I actually have a Drexel side table that it reminded me of, but the one I have is stamped inside the drawer.

The side table with the brass colored metal on the legs is american of martinsville.
