Hi,
well, I suspect this s a Gio Ponti chair made by Fratelli Reguitti in Italy ..... but I have searched long and hard, and have not found a leggera with this style of construction ...bolts together, via the corner blocks, and there are no stretchers between the legs??? Am I way way wrong, can anyone please shed some light on this dining chair? Thanks so much.
Cheers,
Adam.

It is in the style of Gio Ponti. Unfortunately, the success of Gio Ponti's Leggera and Superleggera reinterpretation of the classic traditional ladder back chair from the region in Italy called Chiavari spawned many lookalikes, some good and others no so good and some a bit over the top.
I hope you acquired your chair because it appeals to you and you have a use for it instead of the designer pedigree.
Cheers Minimoma,
does the FR on the frame stand for Fratelli Reugetti? I always enjoy a little archeological digging around the provenience of any mid-century piece. Bought it, cos I liked it, and ienjoy restoring pieces of this era... but i always like to know a little more about the piece, before I start working on it. Thanks for your help.
Regards.
