Looking for any information on these chairs  

I recently acquired two of these John Stuart chairs. The other marking is from France and Son and contains a number. Can this number be used to get information about the chairs? Attempts to contact the company have not yet been successful. I believe the re upholstery may have distorted (too puffy) the original line on the seat and back and I'd love to restore them as they were originally intended to look. Any ideas? I'd love to learn about my "new" chairs!
