First timer here. Bear with me if I screw up the links/pics. I grew up with MCM and have some that I'de like to try to identify. This lamp has a ceramic mogul 3way switch that I've screwed an adapter into to take a standard bulb. Here are three views, plus some links to Lightolier lamps from 1stdibs that look similar. Is it possible to identify a designer - how do some of them do it at 1stdibs? http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/chandeliers-pendant-lights/lightolier-pulley-lamp/id-f_421976/ http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/floor-lamps/paavo-tynell-lightolier-brass-floor-lamp/id-f_795180/

Better pics
I see this has gotten some views but no responses. Hopefully some better pictures will help. Here's a better view of the brushed aluminum interior and the cast iron base. You'll see on the base that there is stamped in the casting "10-50", "2", and "N". I'm guessing the 10-50 is the date (Nov 1950) though without any other Lightolier floor lamps from this time period it's just a guess.
Perusing the 1stdibs site I found two likely sources for these cast aluminum, brass plated lamps: Lightolier (sometimes ascribed to Thurston as in here: http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/chandeliers-pendant-lights/dou... ) and Taito Oy (ascribed to Paavo Tynell as in here: http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/chandeliers-pendant-lights/paa... ) Confusingly, sometimes the lamps are ascribed to both Lightolier and Paavo Tynell (as in here: http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/flush-mount-ceiling-lights/paa... and http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/lighting/floor-lamps/paavo-tynell-light... ), though I wonder if there is any proof that Tynell did designs for Lightolier?
So does anyone have an early 50's Lightolier or Taito Oy floor lamp they could check for consistency with the picture I provided?
