Kurt Østervig or Niels Koefoed ID help

Hi,

I have seen the following table listed as both by Kurt Østervig made by Jason Møbler and Niels Koefoed for Kofoed Møbelfabrik.

I have only recently seen Niel Koefoed name put with the table and had assumed the table was designed by Kurt Ostervig.

Is this a case of an auction house or dealer incorrectly attributing a design to a certain designer which has gone on to become a well known as designed by the incorrectly attributed designer...?

I had a look on furnitureindex and the table is not listed under either designer or maker. There is a very similar style coffee table by Kurt Østervig.

I do also have another ID request.

I have been told the chairs are designed by Helge Sibast and Arne Vodder for Sibast. I have tried to find a reference for them but as yet not been able to confirm.

borrowed design
Hi there
The table was produced by DYRLUND-Smith who still own the design.
So the østervig table is a possible contender that has simply been borrowed by koefoeds

Thanks Simon,
I emailed both Koefoed and Dyrlund. I recevied a reply from Dyrlund.
"Dyrlund only manufactures the Kurt Østervig sideboard 0179 with upper cabinet 0178 along with the free standing cabinet 0180.
The Flip flap table we discontinued many years ago and it might be Kofoed who have taken over this model. It looks that way."
I also asked them about the flip flap table which is also on the Koefoed website...(definitely a Dyrlund design).
It might be the Koefoeds know have the rights to make both tables. On the Koefoed site it does say the "Ostervig table" is designed by Niels Koefoed.
I will update the thread if I find out anymore....
