Hi i got this rosewood sideboard, i dont know the designer, but i believe it is Johannes Andersen for Hans Bech.
Because it was bought from the same place as the table i got. The designer of the table is Johannes Andersen for Hans Bech Model HB 25/2.
I have attached some pictures of the table and sideboard.
There is a dining suite that Johannes Andersen designed for Hans Bech that is on the Danish furniture index. This is the table. I have never even seen the matching chairs in photos, and I've seen the sideboard with an arc shaped base in photos once. So these pieces are quite rare, and I suspect nobody know the answer you are looking for.
If I were you, I would start looking for little details about the two pieces and see if they match up. The same manufacturer will use the same hardware, jigs, etc. Maybe look and see if the both have identical glides? Check the thicknesses of the legs. Check the radius of the curve between the horizontal and vertical parts of the leg. Check how the legs attach to the rest of the piece (this might reasonably differ).
If you can match these sorts of things up, you probably know what the answer will be, and you can go looking for the sort of proof that does not require hours of study to recognize.
I would b curious to see photos of all this, as I really like these pieces in photographs and would be curious to learn more about them.
