Is this Jens Quistgaard for Dansk? Never seen this.

I just picked up this candle holder. I've seen many cast iron Dansk holders, but never this one. It's built with 2 pieces bolted together, simply marked Denmark. Any Dansk fans out there recognize this? Thanks, David

I've seen it attributed to Dansk in a Dansk candle article. However, there was neither a model number or year associated with it, nor any vintage catalog/ad support.

Hi David,
please try to unscrew the two parts and you will find the right marking for Dansk Designs Denmark. It is Dansk by Jens Quistgaard. This is the second one I ever have seen, very rare.

Rob, I just went back and checked my archives, and the article I mentioned was indeed yours. My compliments on quite an informative and thorough summary of your Quistgaard cast iron candle research. It is my go-to document whenever I am looking for info on that subject.
