ID help please: Is this a George Nelson floor lamp?

I've seen this lamp before. It's very nice, but not a Nelson design.
Any reputable lamp shade shop should be able to replace the fabric on your shade. They may not have the same red fabric as your original, but they should be able to restore it.
You might want to put your request for Omni shelves on the Radar portion of D.A. I have an Omni system, but I would want to sell the entire thing, not just the shelves. You could also watch eBay, they turn up from time to time and even if you have to buy an entire system, I think it would be fine to have additional parts and components that you could add to your system.

Thanks for the information Pegboard Modern. I'm going to try to take the lamp to a local custom lampshade maker this week. I'll try to post the results later.
In the meantime, if anyone has any thoughts on the original designer of this floor lamp, please let me know.
Out of curiosity, has anyone tried going to the source (i.e. contacting the suspected designer's company/organization for verification) or perhaps to an auction house to get an answer to this type of question? I've been trying to solve this mystery for years now and would love to have an answer. Thanks again for your input.
