ID help needed on fixture  

I have just been given this lovely fixture by my sister. It was purchased by her husband who just passed away, so she doesn't know much about it.
Does anyone know who might have made it?
I'm sure it was purchased in the 70's. It is made of carved wood with a black finish. The frame measures 15 w X 21 h. and the globe is about 10" diameter. It reminds me of a Laurel lamp. He had a couple other Laurel lamps but they were purchased earlier.
