Hello! I'm so impressed with this forum. I have found so many answers. I found this chair at Salvation Army. It looks similar to ones in which I was repeatedly outbid on ebay recently. There is no mark at all that I can see. I'm not even sure if it's made in Denmark. Any insight would be wonderful.

I have an identical one like that. I'm pretty sure its by Stanley Furniture. They're an American company. I found one somewhere online that had the markings.

Interesting, thanks!
I'll look around for that online. That should help narrow down my search a little. 1960s? I must say the down curve of the arm edges make for a comfortable sit. Only $15. May not be a collector's dream come true, but I'm happy about it.

Grand Rapids
is a long way from Copenhagen. Study of the many varieties of this basic form, so popular in the 'fifties and 'sixties, specifically exploration of examples which can be clearly assigned to one side of the Atlantic or the other, will eventually inform the student of the differences between "the real thing" and its offshore cousins . . .
Enjoy !

Robin, Stanley Furniture...
Robin,
Stanley Furniture company is having a heritage collection sale on One Kings Lane right now. The price is very inflated but none the less, here is your chair:
