ID MURANO Venini for TECNO ITALY 60s huge glass tray/ashtray

This gorgeous glass tray in cased glass (red and clear) has the Tecno logo imprint on bottom and the Venini sticker. Measures over 10" diameter, very heavy. We have a matching pair and received an estimate - any thoughts???

Branded to fit a Tecno piece in a showroom, or for the Tecno offices? Seems an ashtray to me?
