Here are 2 I am trying like a dickens to ID. One I posted yesterday (trestle table) one I just picked up (I bought it off of CL while on Vacation).

I think the Trestle table mark says FDP or FDR...closest I could think of was France and Daverkosen, but am willing to be corrected...( I KNOW I have seen that mark). the 2nd, less clear mark is a MYSTERY, looks like HA Sigma. The workmanship is amazing.

the 2nd item is plywood magazine rack. I believe the outside wood is Mahogany. The only online reference I could find simply said it was "1960's/American". Completely unmarked.

Random suggestion. Should we have a persistent thread where people post Manufacturer Marks that they have ID'd? So that we could check there first? before starting a new thread?

Not France & Daverkosen, the dining table was produced by FDB Mobler.
Borge Mogensen and Poul Volther are two names I know are associated with FDB, I'm sure there are others.

I actually
think it's a great idea to have a Marks Thread, both identified and unidentified.
Hey, if we can live for four years with mahogany association numbers by the truckload, surely we can amass a significant number of marks, right?

I agree
I think we have a unique mix of knowledge and reference materials. SHOULD cut down the "what the heck is THIS" threads.
Also, after much researching, my Mobler / Borge Mogensen table appears to be near unique. It is the only example I can find with the leaves. Cool
