Hello!A newbie here in Design Addict! Would greatly appreciate your help in authenticating my newly purchased Eero Saarinen tullip chair. The under bottom of the chair does not have the one screw bolt. There's no sticker or logo to authenticate it's by eero saarinen. Seller said it was washed out in time.Would love to hear from you guys! Thanks!

The base appears to be made from fibreglass so this is not an authentic chair.

Thanks a lot vintagestique!
Could the bottom part been repaired? Would there be other ways of telling if the top part is original?
Truly appreciate your help!

Nope. This is a copy. Front edge of the seat doesn't curve downward correctly. Also, the Knoll ones have a visible fitting under the cushion. (Photo here:  http://www.connox.com/categories/furniture/chairs/knoll-saarinen-tulip-c...)

You're right it does not curve correctly. Learned a lot from this.
Thanks for sharing toomany chairs! Really appreciate this.
