I have a 1st generation Herman Miller fiberglass arm chair that has rope cut in sections, and only on the corners of the chair. The rest of the under-edge is a thick rounded glue bead, but no rope. Will take a picture. Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm thinking this may be a in-production trial to use less rope around the under-egde of the chair? Perhaps one of a kind?
