Hello, I recently bought this Herman Miller chair, circa 1975 according to the tag. It's clearly a vintage Herman Miller Eames chair; however, there seem to be many such chairs of varying styles available. My question for the forum is where does this style rank in terms of collector desirability? I'm personally happy with my chair, I prefer it to those with an armrest or the adjustable chairs for example. Just curious from a novice.

Any Herman Miller Eames chair at a reasonable price is a great start for a novice.
Herman Miller is not my area of expertise and the description I offer is little better than yours. I would suggest the chair appears to be a contract piece. By this I mean it was used in an office environment.
That you are "personally happy" with your chair is all that matters in desirability ranking. Good for you.
