Have had this for a while. Reminds me of a Saarinen wood legged armchair, but the base/legs are different. Anyone?

Okay, I'm resurrecting this thread from the dead.
Wondering if people are not responding, because they don't know anything or because they don't think the chair is "worthy" of a response.
Granted, the chair is not Nakashima, Eames, Bertoia, Borsani, etc. Nor is it of stupendous pedigree .... It is, however, an interesting chair and any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Sorta looks like
The seat and back sorta have Saarinen lines or at least pay homage to him and the legs point to Danish influence so I would speculate it's from that era but may be a "knock off".
But honestly I don't know.

method of elimination
Hi,
I had a look at it, and though I don't know who it is, I would eliminate Denmark from the list of possibles. We have had a lot of this type on auction from Denmark, and though this comes close to similar Danish examples, they have all been on raw birch, beech or pine frames. In other words, they have had dark stained beech/ birch or teak legs with a lighter colour (inferior wood) frame. It's the old mentality, "what you can't see doesn't have to be of as good quality".
Another thing that makes me lean towards perhaps the States, is the upholstery. If original I think it is more of Anglo/ American influence.
I don't know if this has made you come closer to a conclussion, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the input! With regard to the upholstery, I recently came a cross a fabric done by Marianne Strengell that was very similar to the one used on this chair. Although she was from Finland, the fabric was designed (I believe) while she was at Cranbrook in the U.S.
I'll figure it out one day 🙂

While looking around on ebay, I think I may have finally determined the origin of my chair. These allegedly Adrian Pearsal chairs for Craft Associates seem to be the side chair version of my chair. They seem to have identical leg construction.

I didn't have a clue, so did not respond.
So, the mysterious Craft Associates...
I came across a fantastic couch and chair on a trip south.
(photo probably still on my phone)
The only hint linking to Craft Assoc. was a fabric tag.
They made some interesting pieces, but not many?
I think their furniture has always been more traditional
and ventured into the streamline danish influence for just a
short while in the 60's? just a guess...gave it a good search a
while back, but did not find much.
like the chair, and the fabric. nice little case-study bedroom piece.
