Any other pictures, or information? type of wood?
First inkling would be Westnofa and Ingmar Relling, but that is always the go to for a bentwood piece like this.
The reverse cantilever and wingback are probably one of the more unique details of the chair, and I know Rykken/Rybo used the reverse canti in a lot of designs, more-so than Westnofa, I think.
Pretty difficult to get more with just this picture.....
Hi Zephyr,
Yes, I believe it´s stained beech. I´m thinking it´s Westnofa, or maybe Velledalen or some other small manufacturer in Norway (or Denmark/Sweden?) I don´t think it´s Rybo/Rykken+co, they´re usually good at leaving their trademark somewhere on the chair. But this chair has no clues whatsoever.
But thanks for Your comment!
It is stained beech.
I have a Norske Møbler from 1978, with dozens of makers in there. Velledalen is in there. Lots of makers who are virtually unknown. And almost every other one made a chair that looks a bit like this. None are the same obviously.
Sorry, I could not be more helpful.
