It definitely isn't a Niels Vodder 46. (Angle between back and legs, lack of cross brace underneath, etc)
And it has clearly had a most unfortunate accident with an upholsterer of ill repute.
But point out where it diverges from a Bovirke 72?
And nice chair! Reupholster in leather? Horsehair fabric?
I don't know a great deal myself. But being a question of Finn Juhl, there are a lot of resources on the Internet.
I am trying to follow Glassartist's statement that it isn't quite either chair.
Look up Niels Vodder model 46 and you will see lots of specimens. They have a side-to-side cross brace under the seat. It simply isn't on glassartist's chair. And not the same angle between the back rest and the leg. Different.
The Bovirke 72 differences are more subtle. Again look it up on the Internet. The front seat rail is the most obvious difference. But the arms are also too thick where they meet the rear legs. This is an odd angle for a photo. Take a look at this specimen: http://www.lauritz.com/en/auction/finn-juhl-1912-1989-armstol-bo-72/i199...
Which leaves me, I guess, about where glassartist already got to (probably more quickly than me). And now I am thinking it is some sort if replica, and the wood doesn't look much like teak or rosewood in the photos. If the wood is something very wrong, like walnut, that -might- mean something about the replica. If it were teak or rosewood that -might- mean something else entirely.
Really expensive and great looking:
