Ever Seen These Bamboo Webbed Chairs?  

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm fan of vintage bamboo furniture. I picked up these 4 bent bamboo, webbed chairs this week from Craig's List. They are more impressive in person than in the photo, so I was very pleased. (The photo is from the original CL listing.) The young man I purchased them from stated that they were his in-laws and had been in the basement for decades. He described them as patio chairs but said they had never been outside. I've found my bamboo pieces to be more difficult to ID than other items. Does anyone have a clue who might have created these? Or are they just generic?
