Easy chair ID request and restoration advice - teak, leather and cane  

Hi everyone,
I'm about to restore this chair and would like your input on:

-the designer and maker of the chair. (should be mid century danish, no mark to be spotted though).
-any advice on how to better web the cane. Pictures would be great!
-regarding the 2 vertical wood carvings in the canning frame, I guess there should be a leather strap in the back, do you have pictures of a similar system / advice?
