Dear All,
Could anyone help me to identify the manufacturer of the depicted eames lounge chair. It's bought form a high end dealer in The Netherlands back in 1965, but no labels. The bolts in the chair have "Imperial" thread. Could also anyone tell me what kind of wood it is.
Thanks in advance.

THE WOOD - looks to be rosewood.
THE CHAIR - looks to be legit, but I am certainly not a pro on that ID.....in which case it is manufactured by Herman Miller or Vitra.
If you do some basic searching online, I think you will find the further answers you might be looking for...like whether Vitra used metric or imperial fasteners, etc.
I'm sorry but I think the chair is not legit. It aint no older Vitra, or HM, but a sort of replica that I've never seen. Look at the way the corners of the back-shells are kinda square, instead of curved. Plus, which was my biggest clue, the iron 4 star that connects the base to the bottom shell appears to be false 🙁
