Does anyone have any info on these chairs which came with a table which I'm assuming was purchased as a set. They (the chairs) are clearly DYRLUND but I can't find any info on them :-/. Any help will be gratefully received. Also could anyone give me an idea of value?
Thanks in advance
I am not the expert around here, but they look like Niels Koefoed chairs to me. This isn't really a free valuation service, and value can be wildly different in different locations. For reference I recently bought an 8' skobvy "moller style" teak table with hideaway leaves, and 8 Niels Koefoed Eva chairs. In Columbus, OH. I paid $500, sold it for $1,500 three days later. Turned that $1,000 into a Finn Juhl Bench/Coffee table, but that is another story. http://www.artnet.com/artists/niels-koefoed/past-auction-results
Then the table is almost certainly not Dyrlund, as Dyrlund was one of the few companies that very reliably marked their product.
The chairs are almost certainly generic designs. This is why Dyrlund stuff frequently has less value than other companies who produced pieces by designers. As a small compensation, most Dyrlund stuff is notably well made.
