Designer/Label for Danish sofa?  

Looks like one of Finn Juhls sofas (don't remember the model name) for France & Søn.

That is a Jupiter group sofa made by France and Søn.
It is model number 218/4.  The /4 denotes that it is a 4 seater.
This model is an in house design, which is to say that France and Søn's advertising did not specify designer, at least in no documentation I have yet to turn up (perhaps there is some such catalog or retailer's catalog in existence), HOWEVER, the secret, "in house" designer was Finn Juhl, which we know from the trade magazine, Mobilia.  See here for more on this specific example and the in house, secret designer phenomenon:

You are welcome.  Thought you might like that.  I am constantly trying to find more documentation on the phenomenon.  I haven't made much progress in the recent past, and that post basically sums of the state of my knowledge and beliefs.

Would the sofa be worth anything? (i know forum rules say that its not allowed to ask for value - so just yes/no would suffice).
Its more because if its worth a penny or two id ask my friend if he still wants to give it away or not!

Maybe a better way to calculate value would be to consider what a day of your buddy's labor is worth. Certainly, yours is of equal value. If he/she is a city banker, I'd call it a fair trade.

And, just about anything with Finn Juhl's name is worth a bit.   I suspect that this is not a particularly valuable Finn Juhl, as it is bland compared to the vast majority of his designs.
