Hi Lexi
Yes it looks very similar. I read the threds and could see there was no conclusion to who designed it, but someone somewhere in Scandinavia.

The shape of the back is similar to the design lines used by Aksel Bender Madsen & Schubell for Bovenkamp (Holland). The arms are very different however. Could it be Dutch?

Aksel Bender Madsen was a Danish designer most known for his designs in collaboration with Ejner Larsen. Madsen and Schubell was a Danish maker; mostly of lounge chairs I think. Bovenkamp was a Dutch maker.
I do not believe the three fit together as one,, but I do rather like how it rolls off the tongue.

Hi Nina,
Came across these images while searching online. Your chair looks very similar, but hard to tell from the one photo you posted.
Listed as Kurt Ostervig sculptural chair.

Hi Lexi
I have just sent mine away for reupholstery, so i cant take more photos.
But i think you solved the "mystery". I have googled and found it listed as Kurt Østervig also in auction houses. Looks like it comes in a low and a high back. Mine must be the low.
Thaks a lot!
Nina

Which auction houses are we talking about here? I know of only a couple that I would actually trust with a design credit -- in general. And I know of quite a few that I would not even trust with a design credit even if they claimed to have read it out of a manufacturer's catalog. Of course this does not mean that they are always wrong, but it definitely means that any design credit that you can't independtly prove from an original source is nothing more than an "attribution" at best.

Looks nice.
You should not believe Lauritz that it is Kurt Østervig.
