Hi all,
I just bought this unit but I'm missing some hardware so I was hoping that someone can ID it so it makes it easier for me to track down the missing brackets.
Unit:
All pieces are teak veneer over particle board and 31.5" wide.
Rails are 78" long with holes on both sides, holes being a little over 2" apart.
Cabinet (see photo).
Shelves are combo of 8", 11" & 18" deep.
Smaller black brackets support 8" shelves.
Larger light brass brackets support 11" & 18" shelves (see photo).
Stamped "Made in Denmark" in the back of some of the pieces (see photo).
The problem is I have more shelves than brackets. I need both the black brackets for the 8" shelves and the larger brass brackets for the 11" and 18" shelves. How would I go about acquire more of these brackets? I figure that if I knew the designer's name or had more info on the design then I can track down the hardware more easily. Is there a website devoted to Danish wall unit owners to get missing parts (hardware/shelves/cabinets) for their unit?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

the maker, but looking at the supports I would imagine it to be a simple and inexpensive job for any metal shop to make some for you. An Id is always nice, but you could hunt for a long time and not find anyone that has spares even if you knew the maker. Even then they would likely be no cheaper than having some made. Wild uneducated guess, Falster?

Do you really think a metal shop can create these brackets? How would they make them, from scratch? Are you saying that they would just buy the parts that are already made that are the same as these brackets and then bend them?
Falster is the name of the designer who designed wall units?

I am generally a newbie, but I will offer up what I can. I would venture to say that it's not a Cado unit as it is made of fiberboard and not of solid wood. I have the same type of unit with an assortment of boxes and shelves which is also made from fiberboard with teak veneer and it is made by PS Systems Danish Furniture. The dimensions and construction of the cabinet look about the same as what I have. On higher end units that I have seen (like the Cado ones) the cabinets are often miter jointed. As for the brackets, they should be easy enough to have made. Home Depot sells lengths of brass dowels that you could have cut, bent and threaded at your local metal shop. Just take a bracket as an example to show them and get the appropriate screws at the hardware store. I am not sure of the cost of having these made but I am sure it's not going to break your bank account. Good Luck!

Is a maker. Sorry for not clarifying. Yes, A metal fab shop could whip these out in no time. If you are lucky, they They might even have short lengths of the appropriate steel and brass rod. The lengths needed would likely qualify as scrap to them. Try it. Take them to a shop and see what they say. You don't have to say yes if you don't like the price quoted. The only obstacle I could see is that it is such a minor job, they may not want to bother. The smaller the shop, the better.
your brackets look like they ...
your brackets look like they might work for my shelves. I picked up a unit with no hardware, now have figured out they're not Cado due to the holes for the shelves. Mine look like they would have had a washer or screw head underneath. In the pic (if it works) the top shelf is a Cado that I bought off ebay but the rest of mine are like the ones underneath. Did you ever succeed in getting more made?

The system is one the was made predominantly for export by Preben Sørensen hence the name PS.
I have a massive system of this which I will be putting up later today and I think there might be more brackets than shelves.
If so will put on here exactly what and how many.
