Hi all,
I'm trying to ID this rosewood Danish desk in the photos below, can anyone help me? I can only find a Made in Denmark stamp.
Thanks
Dan

Rules and regulations
Is it not against the rules of the forum to advertise items for sale?

How am I advertising?
Can't you even ask for an ID on this forum any more?
Unbelievable
At least it's not some idiotic nonsensical ID request about a chair in a garage that you went past one day.

I wasnt selling my ID just seeing if anyone would recognise the description, you are selling yours and you have posted several pictures that are used as part of your sale.

And your problem is...?
The pictures are being used elsewhere to advertise the desk. As far as I know, this is not:
a) Breaching any rules on this forum.
b) Classed as advertising on this forum.
c) Any of your business
Honestly, read your threads and see how pedantic you appear. It's pathetic. Haven't you got a Christmas pudding to stuff yourself into, Sixpence?
I can pretty much guarantee that 85% of the ID requests on this forum are to aid a sale. Are you saying now that we need to change the forum rules so that we can only ID items that we are keeping?

I still think
we should break out ID threads. And maybe have a "Things for sale" thread.

That would be one way of having no more ID threads

Gunni Omann?
The drawers kind of remind me of Gunni Omann.

I thought that, but couldn't find the same model when I did my searches.

I'm with you danielm
I see this forum as a place where like-minded people, probably mostly professionals, can share expertise, brag and learn a little. I know that there is a competitive advantage in knowing more than the next person, and lots of us have worked hard to learn what we know. If you want to be paid for your knowledge, then don't answer. But I think if you give a little, you get a little. Plus, a challenging ID is great fun!

maxbernat i'm so glad you made that comment
It would be naïve to think that most contributors to this forum we're not selling any of their acquisitions. I'm constantly learning, and a lot of my knowledge comes from this forum. I'm not a professional dealer, but I do buy and sell pieces that I find which are going cheap.
I didn't want to justify myself, but I had to buy this desk to get the chair, which was a Finn Juhl rosewood diplomat chair, which matches my own personal desk at home (not for sale). I now need to sell this desk which will pay for the chair. Not making a profit, just getting the chair I've been looking for, for the last 2 years. I'm sure some smart arse will have their own view on this though...
