I have a Danish style three seat sofa where the basic structure is so very close to a DUX sofa. I couldn't locate any makers mark and I haven't been able to find an example of one with a third support leg in the front. So is this just something that is meant to be close or is there one out there I haven't seen yet? Again any and all help is very appreciated!

There are a couple of sofas and a chair that have similar features but this is the one that is closest in my mind. I'm mostly speaking of the arms how they thin out and how the arm rest to front leg joint are 45 degree joints. Then how the front leg how it tapers is very similar. Now I know there are a number of differences, my question was more, is there anther sofa that DUX did out there, because of how similar the construction is.
Here, there, everywhere. My 1962 Excellent Furniture Company catalog was an epic involving an estate sale in Texas that advertised some Aasbjerg furniture. So I contacted the estate sale person to check if there might be a catalog also. There was, but not for sale. Six months later I finally got an email that it might be for sale. And a couple of months after that I had finally negotiated an exorbitant price for it and got it.
Mostly I try to put them to use (answering questions around here being one use) and expect that they will continue to show up.
I suppose I am way past due for sharing another catalog on here. Any requests?
Hmm... Good question! I'm relatively new to the forum so I don't know what you've already shared and theres so much I don't know. Beyond being able to identify design features, I would also like to be able to see what different wood options were available for many of the designs. So I don't if you have something that fits that or not but I would just be interested in seeing whatever you have!
It is really rare to get quality information about wood that a design was executed in. Basically they could be executed in a lot of different woods, and while one catalog may say that there are certain options, you will often find specimens in another wood. The conclusion is that some other year they offered it like that too.
You really just have to learn to identify the woods you are seeing and come to an understanding of where they might have used which wood.
I will pick an interesting one, because I can't share the Povl Dinesen. It was an unfair question really because nobody knows the catalogs I have; I can't even remember them most of the time.
