Credenza stamped E.K. Made in Denmark

I just got my hands on a beautiful credenza but after spending a whole night researching I cannot find any information on the identifying mark stamped on the back.
The top Hutch is Falster Made in Denmark and I can find information on that, but the sideboard has got me stumped. All it says is E.K. Made in Denmark
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What makes you think they are from two different manufacturers?

In all of my research i could not find the two pieces together...
I could only find the Falster Hutch top piece but never the bottom piece.
Also, the top piece has an identification tag that says Falster Made in Denmark, but the bottom piece just has E.K. Made in Denmark. It's that mark that has me puzzled because I can't find any information on that mark at all...

This is the mark that is on the top Hutch.

I believe you are right not to think that EK is Falster.

So who in the world is this EK guy, and why can't i find this sideboard anywhere??
...spending another night on the ol' interwebs with no luck...
